Upfront didn’t generate a lot of revenue ($2 million? …or was it $200,000?) but it was Alias Research’s very first desktop software product. James Boritz and I and Ming Mah and Richard Brath and Dan Whitely and Jon Steinberg are the team that brought Alias Upfront for Windows to life – in a back room on the 3rd floor. It is really an incredible tool for making sure the design is exactly right”, said the Chairman of Microsoft. “In the graphics area, I picked Upfront from Alias Research.
